DMLS Cobalt Chromium rings #2

Here's a great shot of my most recent set of rings. They are created using the Direct Metal Laser Sintering process. "DMLS".
They have been polished by means of "MMP" Micro Machining Process. Fun stuff.
I can't say enough about the great people at Rapid Quality Manufacturing in Ohio. They know "DMLS". And good dancers too.

Holiday cheer is here. I'm cheery because I'm shipping out new work for the "season". Lucky cat is pawing away. Sell, sell, sell!

Color is good.

I've had some great luck with my most recent color choices. Hope you like them.

An even "newer" direction

The internal ring reads... "You are so beautiful do you know what you do to me"
Oh my gosh! Isn't that the most romantic thing you have ever seen.

Some new developments

The dying and finishing division of my studio (Cristen Del Bove) has developed this excellent green. As you may already know... Green is Good. Hope you like it.

The master at work

So here is the first instance of a stone being set in a DMLS Cobalt Chromium ring. My good friend Kip, who is completing his MFA at Tyler, has succeeded in placing a 2mm Diamond with a 4 prong setting. He had to use a few special diamond dusted burs to cut the seat, and a bit more force than he is accustomed to but it was a complete success! My wife was present to offer immediate user feed back. Very happy day and much good stuff to come. Stay tuned.

Feasible Flexibility

I am very excited to show this latest piece. It's a bit conceptual as it doesn't relate directly to beauty. Instead it draws its beauty from its simplicity, playfulness and function-ability. I am calling it the Flex Ruffle Cuff.

The circle in the square.

What's this? The newest in new in the news. Anyway here is my most recent bracelet. I've named it the "circle in the square" for obvious reasons. It really takes advantage of selective laser sintering's ability to realize internal and external parts in one object. I consider it a "statement" design as it is rather large and you may not want to wear it to the beach. But maybe you do... who am I to say. Find this at Gallery Loupe in Montclair New Jersey
